so today is thursday… the week flew by pretty quickly, but then again… they usually do.

this morning I went to the gym, i have been trying to go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays- partly for the obvious reason, of keeping myself in shape and party because well… it helps me start my day early. If I get to the gym at 8, then I am usually done working out by 9am, then i am already like into my day by 10am which is good. If I don’t go to the gym I wind up sleeping till about 1030, then saying to myself "Joanna, you’re the boss, you can sleep till 11 if you want.. its cool… don’t worry about it" but then the lazy Joanna and the productive Joanna duke it out and then they compromise by having me wake up at 1045. Then by the time I shower and drink coffee it’s like, 1130 ish- and then I sit my by computer and hate myself and when 7pm rolls around I’m like, damn… I got nothing done today. Great,

Yeah, that’s kind of what happens. But today, I went to the gym and then came back home and went right back to sleep… I got home around 930 and slept until about 11:15… yeah.. it was a late start today. I think I deserve it though… right? I hope.

I have been trying to brew my own coffee and it tastes awful but I am drinking it anyways. I’m not even trying to do anything complicated, I’m just trying to like, put coffee in some filter and fill the thing up with water and drink some crappy coffee… but I can’t seem to do it correctly. I really don’t like Starbucks… I like the gas station coffee so much better. Everything at Starbucks is like, filled with milk not coffee. So I just want to make the coffee equvilant of like, what you find at 7-11… that shouldn’t be so hard… but I can’t do it! I think my stomach is starting to hurt from all the bad coffee I drank all day.

URMMMM yeah. The tattoo convention was fun, it’s pretty insane what a celebrity Kat Von D is. She was kinda like, the Jenna Jameson of the tattoo convention. Like, at porn conventions… when Jenna is there, there is always some point in the convention where the entire floor is just forming one line behind her booth waiting to get her autograph. It’s like she is the only person there and everyone else is just some kind of sideshow to look at while waiting to meet her. This happened with Kat at Musink… like… literally… everyone there was on line to get her autograph. It’s so strange! I have been getting tattooed for about 10 years now… when I get tattooed, it’s practically like getting my hair cut, or like, going shopping for new clothes… it’s kind of just something I do. Tattooing is actually kind of boring to watch… it’s someone sitting down and someone else coloring their skin in with a needles… I have really liked a lot of people who tattooed me and I think most of them are extremely talented,…. but I never thought of tattoo artists like rock stars. Dudes in bands get up on stage and like, perform… even if the bands suck I totally understand their star appeal… but like… a tattoo artist… they just tattoo! I don’t get it! And LA Ink is a "reality" TV show… so there isn’t much acting… so it’s not like she is really an actress. I dunno. I don’t get it. I think she is very pretty, and I do really respect her as a business woman… but this whole tattoo artist celebrity thing is just really surreal. Maybe I’m being hypocritical, maybe people think the same things about porn stars… maybe my fame is overrated as well, I mean I think it does take more talent to tattoo than to fuck… but i dunno…. do you get it? I just don’t get it. This century is pretty weird, it makes me feel old. When I was younger, "famous" people were like, in Motley Crue, or New Kids on the Block- or they were really acting on TV or in movies- like Christain Slater or like, Fred Savage? Hahaha… remember him? Sorry, I’m just rambling.

I had fun haing out with all the BA girls and stuff. Joy came down, and Roxy Deville also came. She was in Girls Girls Girls, and even though she isn’t on BurningAngel she is kinda a BurningAngel girl in spirit. Allister was there too… we shot some sex stuff in the hotel room. It was really like um… impropteau but it was fun. It was like a bed time thing if that makes any sense. I met one of the members of the BA streetteam his name is Brian and he was awesome. He like, handed the shit out of some stickers and carried shit in and helped out so much… and he is also cute and has a good sense of humor. Yay for him. I dunno. I think I might give him a shot at doing porno… I don’t know yet. I think I am out of creative juices and I need to end this blog entry before it gets any lamer than it has already gotten.
