Well, after about 20 hours of sleeping straight, a flight across the country, and about 40 vitamin C pills…. I am finally recovered from the Exxxotica New York Porn Convention that isn’t in New York.

Here I am with Jessie Lee, Nova TA, Bella Vendetta, Draven Star, and Phoenix. I know it isn’t the most flattering photo of all of us but… it’s still awesome.

When I lived in New Jersey – I dreamed of growing up and moving to New York.

I hated New Jersey…. I lied to the friends I made in New York City and told them that I was from New York. It wasn’t very believable but I tried. I will be honest- I really love New Jersey now. When I go back, sometimes I just want to stay there.

New York is a great city… but it’s just… so damn cool.

Everything in New York is cool- I mean, the sandwiches are even cool, and the old people are cool…. and the construction workers are cool…. it really is one very “hip” city. It’s really quite charming to be in a state that is so close to the mecca of everything cool- so it acknowledges that coolness does exist somewhere… but it really embraces everything uncool and just doesn’t give a shit. Man. New Jersey really is punk rock!

Like this guy- lets take him for example.

He came to the convention straight from work- and he worked at a Shell gas station. I tried to sell him a Joanna Angel tee shirt and he said he liked the shirt but just didn’t see the point. He basically told me he wore his Shell gas station uniform to work every day and if he goes somewhere after work, he just keeps it on. I’m pretty sure he wears it on his days off too. If this guy was from New York, he would change into his tight black jeans, boots, and button down plaid shirt (or something of that nature) as soon as he was off work. In fact, if he was from New York- he would probably chose to be unemployed over working in a gas station. Whatever. I think…. this guy is awesome.

And speaking of awesome- this girl… is not a girl.

There is a penis underneath this skirt. I must ad, she is also from New Jersey.

And well… here I am in the hotel room, right before I left for the convention.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed your support. I really appreciate it.
