I took some time off from blog posting… as I have been going through a whole lot of nonsense in my life. When it rains, it pours… and I’m not quite sure if I should let all that pour into my blog. The nonsense seems to be clearing up a little bit. I’m trying to keep my head up. Fortunately- Jessie Lee is doing a lot better. She is home with her mom in Buffalo and has been well enough to tweet sexy photos of herself and do a little bit of shopping. For more updates on her go to www.helpomgitsjessielee.com.

On a brighter note- I did have a great Thanksgiving full of nothing but laziness, family, and pumpkin pie. Unlike what most people assume a pornstar’s family to be, mine is completely wonderful. They gave me all the right support that I needed right now. Blah blah blah- sorry. This is supposed to be a happy post and not a sad one. So I must shift gears!

Right before Thanksgiving the AVN nominations were announced.

The entire BurningAngel umbrella was nominated for 20 AVN awards this year!

I am quite thankful for that. I don’t know if I will win anything or not, but I will just cross my fingers and hope I bring home something. I will admit- I was a little upset I was not nominated for best anal scene. Of all the scenes I have done in the past year- only 3 scenes were not anal, and two out of those three were the ones nominated. Ha! Is this a sign? Should I stop putting things in my ass?

Just kidding don’t worry. Me and my ass will remain penetrated.

I definitely don’t want to get into the details of what happened, but to make a long story short… I was driving, a car hit me… and Jessie Lee was a passenger in the back seat.  I am fine, I have no injuries- which I am thankful for, but I also feel like physical injuries would hurt less than how I feel now worrying about Jessie’s recovery.

I think you all know how much I adore Jessie – and what an important part of BurningAngel she is. She is currently in the hospital, she has been there since last Friday and it looks like she is recovering quite well. I have always picked on Jessie for being “Straight Edge” – I am definitely taking all that back now! The fact that there were no drugs and no alcohol in her system- and the fact that she is a very active and healthy girl, has really sped up the recovery process. I have been going to visit her… she went from being in the ICU a few days ago to being in a regular room in the hospital and is now sitting up, eating, and being her regular feisty self. She does have a fractured neck (which was already operated on and fused back together), but amazingly enough… doesn’t not even have one fractured nail.

I am currently in New York. I was supposed to return to Los Angeles this past Monday but I changed my flight so I could stay here and try to help Jessie and her family out as much as I can. I did wind up going to Exxxotica for a short while over the weekend- but I didn’t take any photos of myself or the girls… I didn’t have it in me. So no Exxxotica gallery will be posted! Sorry. I also apologize in advance for my blog being kinda boring for a little while. With all this going on I can’t be the goofy Angel you are used to.

Well as you may or may not know (if you are following me on Twitter) – things are not going so great in life right now.

I am not mentally ready to blog about the car accident at the moment. As soon as I figure out how to verbalize how I am feeling, I will post an update about it.

On Thursday night before the convention, I was asked to speak at The Red Umbrella Series. It’s a reading series hosted by the writer/sex worker Audacia Ray. She invites different people from the sex industry (anyone from porn stars, to dominatrix’s, escorts, sex advice columnists etc) to come and read about a particular assigned topic once a month. The topic on Thursday was “Bad Behavior.” I didn’t want to write about sex because, well, I don’t think sex is bad behavior! It is good behavior! In fact it is awesome behavior.

So instead I wrote about that terrible day in Hollywood where I got too many parking tickets, and elaborated on it a bit.

Here is a very crappy resolution video of my story. I did have a lot of fun doing this. It has always been an aspiration of mine to do stand up one day- this kinda felt like a good warm up for that. Right?
