Bad Behavior – The Red Umbrella Series

Well as you may or may not know (if you are following me on Twitter) – things are not going so great in life right now.

I am not mentally ready to blog about the car accident at the moment. As soon as I figure out how to verbalize how I am feeling, I will post an update about it.

On Thursday night before the convention, I was asked to speak at The Red Umbrella Series. It’s a reading series hosted by the writer/sex worker Audacia Ray. She invites different people from the sex industry (anyone from porn stars, to dominatrix’s, escorts, sex advice columnists etc) to come and read about a particular assigned topic once a month. The topic on Thursday was “Bad Behavior.” I didn’t want to write about sex because, well, I don’t think sex is bad behavior! It is good behavior! In fact it is awesome behavior.

So instead I wrote about that terrible day in Hollywood where I got too many parking tickets, and elaborated on it a bit.

Here is a very crappy resolution video of my story. I did have a lot of fun doing this. It has always been an aspiration of mine to do stand up one day- this kinda felt like a good warm up for that. Right?
