So I’m not feeling so well today =( This blog might be void of energy…because…well, I’m just not feeling too energetic right now.

Last night I went to the Florentine Gardens in Hollywood with Jessie Lee to see Shiny Toy Guns perform. When I go out to brunch, many times I order Eggs Florentine. It usually means poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce over spinach. I’m not sure what this venue had to do with spinach but, whatever. It’s cool.

I was really excited to see them play, and unfortunately – they went on stage and only played two songs? It was weird. It was a big cock tease. They did play their hit “Le Disco” – which is one of my favorite songs – and they played one other one, and like… that was it. Why did they even get out of bed? Why did they even show up at all?! Pretty weird. They totally owe me a proper show.

I did an interview them awhile back – I should probably get in touch with their management and see what the hell that was all about. Perhaps more than two songs was just not in the budget.

This weekend, I was in Chicago celebrating at Phoenix Askani’s Birthday party! It was a blast. It’s kind of odd that before this summer I had been to Chicago once, and now I have been there like 5 times. I have decided I like it there. The food is amazing (and ridiculously gluttonous, but whatever) the bars are a lot of fun, and I have the most awesome posse of hoes there. I especially like the bartenders there…

At Phoenix’s party, there was a Jello wrestling contest. It turned into more of a Jello make-out fest than actual wrestling but I think that is the whole point of it, right? Anyways BurningAngel girl Sidney Scarlet partook in the wrestling. Any excuse for us to see Sidney’s boobs is a good one.

Before the party, we went to some restaurant called “Porkchop”. It was really un-kosher. Everything on the menu had pork in it. The wall had saws all over it – it was pretty cool looking. So here is me and Azure Maddox, Veruca James, and another friend of ours named Matt, hanging out inside the saws. It looks sorta Texas Chainsaw Massacre – right?
