Last night I decided to get a somewhat spur-of-the-moment tattoo. I have been in a bit of a funk and some quality time with my good friend Grant Cobb at Spotlight Tattoo, and some new pretty ink on my arm was just what I needed to cheer me up. I went in there and wasn’t really sure what to get – I just knew I wanted to fill up a certain space in my arm. I looked through some books and decided on an anchor with a sinking ship in the middle. It’s just a cool traditional piece – with fun colors, and maybe some significance to my life that I don’t feel like getting into. This is xoxojoannaangel.com – not a fucking episode of LA Ink!!! On this blog, we don’t talk about the meaning of tattoos. We just show them off. Got that?

Well in any case, here is another reminder to come out to see me this weekend (and by weekend I mean Thursday, Friday and Saturday) in San Francisco at The Crazy Horse. It’s a really fun strip club – and the only place where they allow me to get like…really dirty on stage. I can stick things in my butt and stuff. Seriously! So you for sure don’t want to miss this one – or else you might get stuck watching me dance another time in the Midwest where I have to wear pasties and a thong on stage, and I’m barely allowed to penetrate my belly button.

I went to a big store that sold lots of cowboy boots hoping to get some new ones, but none of them fit. Oh well.

And that was that! La Boheme is beautiful strip club and anyone who lives near it should go there. They actually pay good music there , and they serve booze and the girls are hot. Hopefully I’ll be back there soon!

I’m in Denver, and on my way home from the airport I saw from my cab that we were passing my favorite Midwest sandwich place, Jimmy Johns. I used to firmly believe that all good sandwiches had to come from New York , but…I was wrong . They can come from New York, or from this sandwich chain in the Midwest .

Anyway, I was hungry,  so I told the cab driver to stop and turn around so I could get myself a sandwich!!!

I don’t get to eat here all that often, so this was an exciting occasion. I did a little photo shoot with my sandwich before I dove in and got disgusting with it.

Just a friendly reminder to let you know I will be dancing in Denver tomorrow night. I definitely need to remember to pack a warm jacket, a scarf, some gloves, and like 10 sweat shirts to wear on top of each other. Perhaps I should just wear that all on stage? Would be super sexy…right?
