Last night I ate at my favorite Mexican food place in Los Angeles with Brian Street Team, Veruca James, and Damon James.

Me and Brian had not been to Hugo’s in quite some time. He was so excited about it that he put on his very best bow-tie for the occasion.

So I have decided to make a movie called “Wet Wife Beaters” …I had shot two scenes for it previously, and yesterday, we shot the rest of it. Well, April Fools came and went and I did not play any pranks on anyone. I forgot about it. Oh well!

Anyways, it was a fun weekend. I went to this Burlesque competition at Dragonfly in downtown LA. It was called a “Hooker Competition” but it was kind of misnamed. The acts were very much burlesque acts, and not anything close to what a prostitute does. The flier had an explanation for it – something along the lines of a definition of a hooker being someone who sells their body in some kind of way – or something. I think a hooker pageant sounded just a tad more exciting than a burlesque pageant…

However, Brian Posehn was the host of the show, and he is incredibly funny. So I enjoyed watching him!

And Traci Lords was one of the judges! I had to get a photo with her.  This is some kind of generations of porno picture; I like it!

Then on Saturday, I took Jessie Lee on a date. We ate at a restaurant in Malibu by the water. It was romantic!

Last night was the screening for Asphyxia Heels the World at Studio Servitu (@studioservitu) . I had a good time! I like hanging out with my porno family. I also really like Studio Servitu. It’s a cool creepy-looking loft that has art shows, and lots of interesting parties there. I actually shot my scene with Manuel Ferrara there – you know, that one that was nominated for Best Anal this past year . It was pretty cool to chill at the party/screening and look at a bunch of people drink beers and hang out on a bed that I got anally pounded on. It made me giggle!

Anyways, the band Blackleg played. Blackleg is my friend Ssippi’s band – he has built a bunch of sets for us – and he played Igor in Fuckenstein. When Blackleg played in Jessie Lee Goes T o College – Brian Street Team was in the band, for the sake of the movie – so Jessie could bone the singer. However, now Tommy Pistol is actually in the band. He sings for Blackleg. And, Tommy was also in Asphyxia Heels the World – AND Ssippi helped build the shoe store in the movie. So yeah, Blackleg and BurningAngel are kind of married in an odd way – so it totally made sense for them to play the party!

I finally stepped into the modern age and got an iPhone 4s. I feel like the last person on earth to have one.

I did like using the Android, and to be honest, there are just a few things I miss about it (considering that I run my life with Google, and Google and Mac don’t really like each other all that much) but, the camera is so damn good it makes up for anything I miss about the Android. I am now on Instagram, so you can follow me on there (I’m just Joanna Angel on there) and look at all the PG-13 photos I take with old timey looking filters on them. It’s a shame I can’t put dirty photos on there! Oh well.

Aside from playing with my new phone, I watched “21 Jump Street” this weekend and really loved it. I was expecting it to be kind of stupid and overrated but, it wasn’t. The humor was good, I laughed out loud, and the story was oddly touching, and kind of exciting. I have a few ideas for porn parodies of particular scenes milling around in my brain.
