I have been friends with Chris Nieratko for quite some time now, and we have worked on a bunch of things together at this point. He “reviewed” some of my porn movies in his book Skinema.  By “review” I mean he basically used them to talk about his life, but he still mentioned the movies in some way or another. He also did a documentary piece on me for his web TV show, also called Skinema (he is obviously not very good at coming up with new names for projects he does) , and he is also a regular record reviewer (kind of) for BurningAngel . Me and him had a radio show for a few months on Moheak.com , a very small online radio station. We did the show for free, hoping that it would be good experience, and help the station take off but- somehow we managed to get fired from the job we did for free. The station told me to not be hurt- they just had to move in a different direction, I have been fired before and I have at this point in life fired people- so I know that is just a nicer way of saying “you’re fired.”I don’t really get it. I really loved the radio show and I think the 9 other people who listened to it liked it too!

In any case, this past weekend Chris and I had some adventures. He decided to put my ass in a skateboarding video he shot for Vans.com. I am not trying to sound gangster like, “he put my ass in this video” like, he literally shot skateboarder Elijah Berle skating with my ass kind of in the way. I think he did this to either piss people off at Vans, or he just wanted to show my ass to some skateboarders. Either way, I was fine with it. Hopefully he does not get fired from Vans the way we got fired from Moheak.

You know, I would follow Chris to the end of the earth, and I believe in every project he does- and I would happily get fired from anything, as long as I was getting fired with him. We are like the very un-dynamic duo. I know I am kind of a weirdo, and at times I feel alone in this world. It’s nice to know someone who is just as weird as I am- who also grew up in New Jersey . I am happy to have him in my life!

As you know, I like to go on hikes every once in a while. I went on a great one on Labor Day! All you people who spent the day relaxing at a pool drinking and eating burgers should know that I spent the day sweating my ass off on an 8 mile hike in Malibu (however I did spend all day Sunday sitting by a pool and eating burgers, but that’s a whole other story.)

One of my favorite things about living in Los Angeles is that I can drive about 20-30 minutes and be somewhere that feels like the middle of nowhere. People think LA is all celebrities doing stupid shit and lots of smog,  but, there are some parts of the city that you just don’t see on TMZ.

Anyways, the hike I went on was in Malibu Canyon. I saw some beautiful views of mountains and the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop!

There was also remnants of a burned down mansion in the middle of the hike. It was called the “Tropical Terrace Mansion” . It burned down in 1982 and here I am in my cool hiking clothes standing inside of it.

Of course, once I was high enough on the mountain to be far away from all the other hikers I took an opportunity to show Malibu Canyon by ass.

It was a good workout and a beautiful hike.  My legs were in a lot of pain the next day,  a good sorta pain!

Last night I was the co-host on DJ Rossstar’s (http://www.stickam.com/djrossstar) Internet radio show.

I honestly thought I was supposed to be a guest on the show? But it turned out I was the co-host. I had no idea but, DJ Rossstar started doing this live webcast thing consistently for the past 10 years. He does it from his apartment, and I really admire all the energy he puts into it. He has over 30-thousand viewers, which is a hell of a lot for a radio host who isn’t on syndicated radio. The reach that he has gets him some really big bands on his show in the past, like Fall Out Boy, Katy Perry, My Chemical Romance, etc. I mean, bands of that size don’t usually show up for press at someone’s apartment! So yeah, he has got some kind of odd cred in the music scene. He is also from the East coast – like me – so I felt like we could relate to one another. We were two Jews who started something on the Internet, on the East coast, 10 years ago.

In any case, the band who was on the show was a um…interesting band called “Acidic” (https://twitter.com/#!/acidicband) . They just ended a tour with Candlebox, and I had no idea they were still a band. When I tweeted something along those lines – Brian Street Team reminded me that we had seen them play (in the sense that they were playing, while I was there) when I did a signing at “Blaze Fest” last summer. I got them confused with Everclear – who also played Blaze Fest – who also was another band from the 90s that I had no idea was still around. Acidic mentioned on the air that their next tour was with another 90s one-hit-wonder band, but I don’t remember who. It was interesting!

The singer/frontman (Mike) was incredibly drunk, and that made the experience pretty funny. I spent most of the show picking on him, which at first, he embraced – but then an emotional drunk came over, and he got kind of upset. He should toughen up! If you’re going to be wasted on the radio – the host is going to pick on you! The whole interaction was hilarious. I started to feel like I was on an odd episode of “Punk’d“.

But I will give Mike credit – when it came time for him to play a song live on the air, he sang his heart out, and strummed his guitar flawlessly. I was expecting (and partially hoping) for it to be a train wreck, but it wasn’t. The music they play isn’t exactly my kind of music, but he was obviously very passionate but what he did, and I admired that.

I talked about the release of my new movie: Joanna Angel: Filthy Whore, and Mike really liked the title. I made him promise on the air that their next record will be called “Mike of Acidic: Filthy Whore” and he told me he would. I’m gonna hold him to that!

All in all, I had a great time. I’ll definitely be going back there.

Some people have asked me how I prepare for a gangbang. As if I have some kind of ritual dance or something that I do, or some kind of gangbang encouraging exercise.

But unfortunately, there isn’t.
