I had a nice laid-back weekend – one of my first weekends at home without much to do in awhile.

First of all, my good friend and BurningAngel starlet Veruca James came to visit me for a few days. She’s thinking of moving to Los Angeles so she was out here looking at apartments. In exchange for me giving her a place to stay, she cooked a lot of food for me – and better yet, she cooked it naked. It was awesome!

So here is Veruca cooking me a naked breakfast.

On Saturday evening Brian Street Team had a Cinco de Mayo party, so I got to catch up with him – along with my friend Ssippi (he played Igor in Fuckenstein, and has made some humorous non-sex roles in a bunch of our movies).

And then on Sunday evening Kirsten Price had a dinner at her place. She BBQ’d burgers, steak, chicken, made the biggest plate of nachos I had ever seen, about 6 different kinds of potato salad and baked cookies for desert. It was ridiculously indulgent.

Here we are with some glasses of wine – with her boyfriend (another porn star) Keiran Lee in the background. He just got some surgery so he has a bunch of bandages on his face. He looks pretty creepy here!

The porn-star Breanne Benson was there, along with our makeup artist, Melissa Makeup.

And somehow, Kirsten had a can of Fluff in her kitchen. I had no idea it was still made. Do you remember peanut butter and Fluff sandwiches?

Yeah. It was a nice relaxing weekend full of friends and food. Weeeeeeeeee.

RIP MCA. Really. As a Jew from the east coast, I practically feel like we were related somehow.

It’s pretty common when you grow up in a Jewish family, to think your only calling in life is to be a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant, or something that involves a suit and waking up incredibly early. You never think you have the potential to do anything exciting. When I was first introduced to the Beastie Boys- I was inspired. I was like, look- these guys are a bunch of dorky Jews, like me- but they managed to embrace it , and be fucking bad asses at the same time.

The first time I smoked pot  was in the 9th grade, with a few friends, listening to Licence to Ill. I got really high, and couldn’t handle socializing with everyone else there (I was the only one in the room who was getting high for the first time so, and I totally lied about it and said I had done it before so I was feeling kinda weird) so I went into another room, and wrote down the lyrics to Paul Revere in a notebook. Not really sure why… but this seemed to have the answers to all the problems of the universe at the time.

Anyways, yeah. That’s my random MCA memory- it’s a tragedy that he died so young.

I am home in Los Angeles now – I had my neighbor get my mail for me while I was away, and when I returned, she left me my mail AND 3 avocados from the Farmers’ Market. It was very sweet! Considering that I have no food in my fridge at all…some avocados will be a nice treat. I can do so many things with them. Tonight will be an adventure of cooking dinner with three avocados and whatever the hell else is in  my freezer.

It’s nice to have neighbors who give you avocados.

I am not one to do movie reviews all that often but, last night I watched The Debt. It was a movie about a bunch of Israeli spies, who lied about shit. Coming from an Israeli family and growing up around cousins and shit in the Israeli military – along with the fact that the movie has a really good trailer (below) -  I thought this movie would be interesting. Seeee!?!

Unfortunately though, it sucked. There were not nearly as many fight scenes as I thought there would be, and most of the movie was about a really lame love story and not about cool spy shit. I don’t know. I was pretty excited to watch a movie about a Jewish chick that kicked ass – that doesn’t happen so often…and while she kicked some ass in the movie, she was pretty annoying 80% of the time, and did not kick nearly as much ass as I wanted her to. Then, at the end, there was a fight scene with two elderly people and it made me incredibly uncomfortable. It sucked. Who the hell wants to watch two 80-year-old’s fight each other?

Anyways, I was really disappointed. People make fun of Jews enough; now we have a whole shitty movie for people to point and laugh at.

So that’s my thought on that movie, in case anyone was wondering.

And here is a Jewish chick who doesn’t kick ass, but puts things in it.
