Yesterday,  I basically spent my whole day on a plane.  I got on a flight at 1PM PST and landed in Florida at about midnight EST. So that was my whole day. I drank airplane wine and ate airport tacos. I’m in Ft. Lauderdale for a big porn convention where all the big buyers and wholesalers and distributors of adult DVDs congregate and drink and schmooze. Yes. Even in porn – there is schmoozing. So hopefully if I schmooze well enough, they will buy some more DVDs. Here’s a pic of me…in FLORIDA!

I watched “Inside Job” on the plane. I thought it was going to be a lot better than it was. There was a whole lot of confusing economic mumbo jumbo that I didn’t understand so well…but in addition to that, what I found most frustrating was that any time they talked about someone really important and really corrupt, it would flash to a black screen that said “so-and-so refused to be interviewed for this film”. The first time it was effective. I was like “Whoa! that person is a douchebag! I can’t believe they declined to be interviewed!!” But after seeing that like 20 times all I could think was… “Yo, dudes…maybe you should have waited to make this movie til you could interview all the people who actually know about this shit.” I just wasn’t that impressed.  Quite honestly, I thought the movie was going to be filled with a bunch of secret footage of rich Wall Street guys doing blow and banging prostitutes. There was some mention of that stuff, but it was all voice-overs with stock footage of a random hand snorting cocaine out of a random dollar bill. BORING!

The whole thing really felt like a Michael Moore movie. Really one-sided with a lot of missing information. If you’re into that kinda stuff, you might like the movie.

Well right now, I’m in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, catching up on some work and drinking a Bloody Mary. Since I’m already on the subject of wealthy douchebags kind of, I feel like I should mention that I’m sitting at a bar at the pool with my laptop – and I’m listening to two men talk about how annoying their pregnant wives are, asking each other where to get cocaine, and how pissed off they are that they are here with their families when there is a “porn convention” going on. They stopped their convo a few times to ask me if my tattoos hurt.

Not to get all feminist on you, but this is really making me hate men right now. I think I’ll get another Bloody Mary. Or maybe 12.

I have a bunch of pictures and stuff from the Body Art Expo in Pomona that I haven’t posted yet. I have pictures of whole lot of shit you have seen a million times only at different conventions in different cities. You know, me at my booth, being a goof ball, in front of my DVD’s, hanging out with my girls… etc. It’s just what I do. I spend my life in convention halls, strip clubs, and porn sets. It could be a lot worse… but I really should mix in a bar every now and again!

That is a resolution for the year 2011. More bars, and more concerts/shows. I should do more of that.

But anyways- Something far more interesting than all the goofy photos you will see, in the near future, of me at the convention, or me getting tattooed (yes, I got some new tattoos!) is the dermal piercing Asphyxia and Skin got at the show.

I don’t know if you know the difference between a piercing and a dermal. You see, a piercing is just a needle that basically goes through the surface of the skin. A dermal is more like an implant. Someone surgically implants a jewel into your skin. It’s kind of complicated to explain but- Skin and Asphyxia got them in their nipples. They have bedazzled tits! It’s pretty awesome. I was too squeamish to watch the process get done so Brian Street Team took some video and pictures of the process getting done to Asphyxia on his phone.

Here it is! You can kinda get an idea of what it looked like. I will have some more photos of the finished product in my future body art expo post!

Yep! NJ EXXXOTICA is ON this year… just in NOVEMBER instead of September…

I hope the change to cold weather just makes everyone more excited to come to the NJ Expo Center for Exxxotica 2010 (97 Sunfield Avenue Edison, NJ) where it will be nice and toasty and HOT!!! Well Chicago, you and your porn convention have impressed this porn star!

Well, this weekend at LA Exxxotica was um… interesting.

Quite honestly, it was a little empty. Conventions in general this year have been a little bit slow, and the people who are at the conventions seem to be more excited by what I refer to as the “porn circus” then porn itself. I call the porn circus things like, girls sucking on penis shaped lollipops, or getting really excited to take a picture of a stripper’s butt on your friends head, or some kind of fake orgasm contest, or involving yourself in some kind of “what kind of porn star are you!” game. It is a shame because I spend so much time and energy on thinking of ideas for what types of scenes to shoot, or writing scripts for movies, and just pairing people and booking all the different aspects of our shoots- but I might have to start putting some amount of effort elsewhere and think of some weird kitchy ideas we can market if I want to stay in business. In other words- I will have to join the circus! I have some ideas. I’m not exactly proud of them but, they shouldn’t be too difficult and hopefully can bring in some extra revenue. Ahhhh man. I sound like such a dorky business woman!

In any case, I thank everyone greatly who did come out. I appreciate your support and i will continue to provide sexy entertainment for you!

But aside from that depressing stuff- I got to hand out with Kleio a lot this weekend.

I made a movie about her called “Crushing on Kleio” because well… it is so hard to not have a crush on her. She is so adorable. She spends most of her time in Texas, and doesn’t really travel other than when she comes to LA to shoot. She joined me, Jenna Haze and Draven for sushi on Saturday night – and when the menu came, Kleio looked at it completely perplexed. I asked her what she was ordering and she told me she had no clue what anything meant as she had never eaten sushi before. I forgot- that cowboys don’t exactly grow up eating pieces or raw salmon!

We all taught Kleio how to use chopsticks, and I ordered plates of rolls, and different kinds of Sashimi.

She tried them all and wasn’t sure which one she liked best. I found it incredibly entertaining…. at the end of the evening she was covered in rice, and drops of soy sauce wound up on her shirt. People in LA eat sushi several times a week. I have overheard conversations at the gym that involved two big muscular guys debating over which sushi place on the same block is superior to one another…. and that shit gets HEATED! Being around someone who was so oblivious to the world of uncooked fish was refreshing, and cute, and fun at the same time. In exchange she offered to take me to some kind of BBQ place in Texas where people wear bibs and eat things with their hands. I want to go there and shower in homemade BBQ sauce!!
