AVN Awards! Meeeeee!
Well I am happy to say- that after two years of losing awards, BurningAngel won three AVN awards this year! Yeeeeehaw!
Here Asphyxia, Skin, MEEEE, Draven, Sparky, and Kleio!
The biggest accomplishment of the night I feel is winning “Best Porn Star Website” for JoannaAngel.com. Obviously, my website is my main gig and knowing that I have the best one is a pretty damn good feeling. You probably didn’t hear my acceptance speech but I certainly thanked all my members, because without you members I would have no website. So thank you.
And then, “Dong of the Dead” won for Best Web release. Dong of the dead has never been on DVD! Just the web… a bunch of people have released little mini web movies this past year. It is a brand new category for AVN. So yeah- it won! Zombies and porn are a powerful thing!

And then- I won for Best Solo sex scene in Rebel Girl. This award is kinda funny because, you see… there are 4 solo scenes in Rebel Girl. When we were nominated for best solo, I had no idea which one they were referring to. Now that I won best solo, I still have no idea which one they referred to. So I won best solo… not quite sure which solo was the best. Perhaps it was a combination of all of them. Who knows! If you watched the movie, you can tell me which one you think was best!
The show was fun. I felt good about everything this year.
I hope 2011 brings in some good stuff. 2010 was kinda rough.

2011 Adult Entertainment Expo – AEE in the Vegas!
I’m here in Vegas … at the big monster porno convention known as AEE.
The adult entertainment expo. It’s in Vegas on January every year . Blah blah blah.
Well anyways there is this big picture of me right outside the convention. It’s on this big uh … convention looking stand thing. Not quite sure how to describe what it was in a better way than that. I really wanted a photo of myself next to the big photo of myself … so I asked Brian Street Team to take one with my phone.
This convention structure thingy was all lit up , and therefore impossible to photograph. We tried a few times.
I was annoyed!
Brian Street Team looked around to make sure the coast was clear…
and once it was….
He ran behind the structure and unplugged it.
It was the entire decor for the entrance of the convention!
He then quickly snapped the pic. Success! It’s not the most flattering pic, but we didn’t have the time to get anything else.
Yeah . Were sooo punk!

2011 AVN Award Fan Favorites
2011 AVN Fan Award time!
Sometimes I feel little guilty that my blog is shameless self promotional plugs – but being able to show the world that I can get the same awards as other porn stars who have been in tons of mainstream production porn movies that sell a gazillion more copies than mine do, and have huge tits tits and blond hair…. Well, whatever. I know I don’t have huge fake tits, but I totally do everything I can to make my movies fun and exciting to watch.
