On BurningAngel we celebrate a few holidays. Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. We ignore all the other ones. There are too many holidays and I can’t make pornos in honor of every single one. Hey, I swear. I don’t want to show off here. I am extremely humble. I swear.

But I saw the ad for the AEE Expo and I just want to say how ridiculously flattered I am to be – what looks like – some kind of representative for the show. The AEE Expo is kind of a big deal in porn, and I am sure that 10 years ago, there would not have been a girl with pink hair and tattoos front-and-center in the promotional advertisement for the show. It’s the big expo in Vegas every year in January- and on the last day of the expo the AVN Awards takes place. It’s one big porno-riffic gangster-ish weekend in Vegas.

I swear. I didn’t pay anyone to get on this poster, and I’m not a representative for a huge porn company. I’m really happy that I made it here just doing exactly what I wanted to do.

Last night I went to the Florentine Gardens in Hollywood with Jessie Lee to see Shiny Toy Guns perform. When I go out to brunch, many times I order Eggs Florentine. It usually means poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce over spinach. I’m not sure what this venue had to do with spinach but, whatever. It’s cool.

I was really excited to see them play, and unfortunately – they went on stage and only played two songs? It was weird. It was a big cock tease. They did play their hit “Le Disco” – which is one of my favorite songs – and they played one other one, and like… that was it. Why did they even get out of bed? Why did they even show up at all?! Pretty weird. They totally owe me a proper show.

I did an interview them awhile back – I should probably get in touch with their management and see what the hell that was all about. Perhaps more than two songs was just not in the budget.

Last week I was a guest on the Greg Fitzsimmons radio show, and podcast with Chris Hardwick. I first met Greg when he was the host of the AVN awards show a few years ago.
